- Wednesday, October 21 was held at Quantum City’s qHub space and featured a curated venture forum, workshops and dedicated networking time.
- Thursday, October 22 was held at Hudson in downtown Calgary, with a conference featuring top-tier speakers and opportunities to connect with industry leaders.
qConnect 2026 was the premier industry event for quantum technology, bringing together businesses, technology leaders, startups, government and investors to turn ideas into real-world impact.

Quantum technology is entering the same frontier phase that once fueled space exploration, autonomous transportation and global grand challenges. This closing keynote explored how quantum as a dual-use technology can help address urgent global challenges while also creating significant economic opportunity. Looking ahead 10 to 20 years, the panel discussed how quantum capabilities in sensing, computing and communications could transform energy resilience, climate adaptation, defence readiness, medical breakthroughs and global security. It challenged industry leaders, innovators and investors to embrace moonshot thinking: to build responsibly, scale collaboratively and unlock a future where quantum technologies become essential tools for human progress.
