Nick Morris

VP, Strategic Partnerships

Nick is Photonic’s VP of Strategic Partnerships, and also leads our work in the UK & Europe as our Managing Director, UK & Europe.

For the last decade Nick has held various leadership roles across the technology sector, all focusing on the commercialisation of deep tech. Prior to joining Photonic in 2022, Nick was CEO of CyLon, a cyber security company builder and investor with offices in London and Singapore. CyLon supported and invested in 100+ cyber security startups, now collectively valued at over £1 Billion, through activities in Europe, Asia and the Middle East.

Earlier in his career, Nick was part of the leadership team at a boutique strategic advisory firm supporting some of the world’s leading investors and technology companies, working in areas from AI powered drug discovery to robotics, before which he was part of the founding team of a deep-tech startup in the field of biomimetics which was launched by HRH Prince Charles in London in 2014.

Nick has Chaired and been a Trustee of multiple charities in the UK, and is an Associate Fellow of the Royal Commonwealth Society. He holds a Master of Arts (Honours) from the University of Edinburgh.
