Neysa leads Photonic’s legal strategy drawing on her experience as a trusted advisor having provided in-house and external legal services and strategic business advice to companies ranging from Fortune 50 to well-funded start-ups.
Prior to joining Photonic, Neysa owned a successful consulting business advising clients supplying technology solutions in many industries with global initiatives on six continents. She has a proven track record negotiating complex transactions for leading edge technology companies.
Neysa holds a JD/LLB and MBA from the University of Ottawa, a Bachelor of Arts (applied studies – computer science/political science) from the University of Waterloo and a certificate in International Development from the University of British Columbia. She is called to the Bars of British Columbia and Ontario. Neysa has honed her governance skills serving on multiple for-profit and non-profit boards and is a member of the Institute for Corporate Directors. She currently serves on the Board of Providence Healthcare (PHC) as chair of Innovation, Academics and Research, chair of PHC Ventures, and a trustee of PHC Research Institute.
